Technician

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
- Responsible for install, move, repair and maintenance of Slot Machines and Multi Electronic Table Game under the direction of the Technical Manager/Assistant Technical Manager. Assist associates in resolving immediate problems such as bill/printer jams, tilts, jackpots, player tracking on-line problems, and replaces parts in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established policies, procedures, regulations and ordinances.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
• Conduct general maintenance on all machines on floor.
• Handles the initial set-up of new slot machines and multi electronic table game.
• Identify defective machines parts that can causes of malfunctions.
• Adjusts and repairs machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using proper tools.
• Assists associates in verifying jackpots and fills as needed.
• Assists in the breakdown, relocation and reset up of machines and stands to be relocated.
• Assists in processing the necessary paperwork for auditing and data processing purposes for the initial set-up and checkout of new slot machines and multi electronic table game.
• Assists in the training of new Slot Technicians.
• Maintains current knowledge of Palazzo club policies and procedures; and Technical Department Guidance.
• Maintain good working relations through all channels of supervisors and employees.
• Perform related additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
• Consults with the IT Department on specific project requirements involving networking and player tracking system.
• Routinely inspects all networking and player tracking supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same, as needed.
• Maintains a working knowledge of networking and server base technology, in order to perform job effectively.
• Conduct daily inspections of the Slot Machines and Multi Electronic Table Game and other related gaming equipment.
• Provide a safe working environment by complying with safety rules and reporting potential hazards.
