1. QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical-Rotating) - Warehouse Section
- Responsible for inspection of all spare parts of mechanical equipment in the Refinery – QA/QC of incoming material – technical standard specification.
- Coordinate with end user and relevant department to completing the inbound receiving shipment
- Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Inspects all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fuel piping, welding rods and other items regulated by the Mechanical Code.
- Review/verify specification, technical data of materials for master data coding job.
- Review all pre-alert paperwork and the signed purchase order, making sure the supplier has provided sufficient and satisfactory documentation in accordance with QA/QC standards.
- Ensure that all inspection requirements are fulfilled satisfactorily according to the final approved drawings/contract/purchase order.
- Check the stocking condition of mechanical spare parts and provide solution/recommendation stocking and preservation standard.
- Make sure the material is accurate and of high quality before providing it to the end user .
- Coordinate with end user to develop the preservation method and plan for mechanical and rotating equipment’s & spare parts.
- Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications.
- Manage the expertise policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements in Warehouse.
- Prepares and implements the material project inspection to complete all project requirements.
2. Welding System Engineer - Central Engineering Section - Asset Integrity Division
- Assignment of Deputy RWC roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure all procedures and work instructions comply with the ISO 3834 system.
- Be the focal point for communication between the NSRP Workshop and NSRP Welding Engineering regarding welding quality issues.
- Review the product standards to be used, along with any supplementary requirements.
- Fully accountable for the NSRP workshop ISO 3834 system.
- Ensure all welding and related activities comply with all applicable NSRP standards.
- Responsible for the implementation and proper functioning of the NSRP Welding System, including regular audits and training for new NSRP Workshop Team employees.
- Maintain a register of all Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) and ensure their validity.
- Ensure welding staff access and use the latest client and legislative codes and standards.
- Identify the need for new WPS and arrange for their compilation and qualification.
- Ensure all welders performing welding operations are correctly qualified according to the applicable code.
- Provide technical advice to supervisory and inspection staff.
- Coordinate welder training to meet site/workshop-specific conditions.
- Maintain and update a register of welder qualifications, using a unique identification number for each welder.
- Test new welders.
- Ensure all welding work is inspected by competent and qualified personnel.
- Coordinate refresher training programs for welders and arrange requalification tests. •
- Maintain appropriate records of all welding work.
- Be the focal point for discussions with the in-house welding engineer.
- Develop and implement induction packs for welders, welding inspectors, welding supervisors, and welding foremen.
- Ensure that PQRs, heat treatment procedures, and complex repair method statements are reviewed and approved by the NSRP Welding Engineer.
- Conduct subcontractor audits if required by NSRP Workshop.
- Enforce and maintain all legislative requirements related to welding.
- Enforce BS EN ISO 3834 philosophies and practices as required.
- Exercise general control over all welders and welding operations.
- In charge of site/workshop welding activities.
- Ensure conformance to approved WPS for all welding operations.
-Review of Work packs Legislative and ISO Compliance
- Control materials and consumables for welding operations per applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure the welding environment is conducive to welding.
- Plan, organize, and control the workload of welders.
- Ensure all equipment used in welding operations is calibrated according to applicable requirements.
- Ensure all welders under their responsibility are correctly qualified for the assigned work. Materials and Consumables Control
- Control welding-related equipment, including suitability, identification, handling, and the supply of personal protective and other safety equipment.
- Ensure all welding equipment is adequately maintained and maintenance records are updated.
- Ensure correct handling and storage of all welding consumables according to applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure all consumables used conform to the relevant WPS. Supervision and Equipment Maintenance • Supervise all heat treatment processes.
- Production Planning and Traceability Execute effective production planning
3. Welding & Fabrication Engineer - Workshop Section - Maintenance Division
- Overseeing workshop process such as cutting, beveling, shearing & forming to ensure all carried out activities are meet quality and safety standards.
- Responsible to check & verify the right materials for a particular task by considering factors such as strength, durability, cost, and availability.
- Ensure the quality of resources of manpower, equipment & tools relevant to activities needed for effective execution.
- Responsible to check daily work orders to identify fabrication scope of tasks.
- Staying up to date with the latest advancements in fabrication technology and troubleshooting issues that occur during the fabrication process.
- Coordinate with NSRP inspection & quality team and other involvement teams to obtain the final endorsement during/ after fabrication process, if required.
- Managing & control workshop raw materials and other fabrication consumables & tools.
- Procure the necessary spares, tools and consumables needed for Fabrication & welding process in coordination with procurement section.
- Responsible to adhere and implement workshop approved NSRP welding procedure specification WPS of welding & fabrication methodology as per company best practice procedures.
- Witness oversee activities at Main Workshop & onsite to provide the needful work quality direction, as necessary.
-Develop the welding procedure WPS, ITP and obtain the approval from NSRP inspection team.
- Maintaining and ensuring all welding equipment & tools are in working order.
- Check daily work orders to identify welding scope of tasks.
- Coordinate with NSRP inspection team and other involvement teams to obtain the final endorsement during/ after welding & fabrication process.
- Follow the organization's HSSE policies, procedures, training, and mandatory instructions.
- Witness oversee activities at Main Workshop & onsite to provide the needful work quality direction, as necessary.
- Manage the relevant safety requirement and collaborate in necessary corrective action & incident closure.
- Arrange & monitoring welder qualification to maintain the quality control and safety standard. - Issuing Fabrication & welding technical report and maintain the record for reference.
- Ensure all workshop maintenance & repair services execution are fulfill the requirement of safety in adherence with 5S technique implementation.
- Develop/update the relevant procedures/ guidelines to establish a consistent & effective way for work execution.
- Develop the scope of work of outsourcing services and closely control and handling contractor performance.
- Identify and mitigate the revenant risks associated with executed tasks.
- Develop & monitoring Fabrication & Welding shop KPIs that meet & achieve workshop and maintenance strategy tactics.
- Contribute to establishing the assessment process and training program for workshop newcomer.
