Functional area
The Chief of Staff (CoS) will work directly with the Managing Director (MD) and other senior executives to manage key initiatives, streamline operations, and support the strategic direction of the organization. The CoS will act as a trusted advisor to the MD, providing critical support in decision-making, communication, and execution of corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
• Assist the MD in developing and implementing strategic initiatives and business plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor progress of strategic initiatives and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Operations Management:
• Oversee daily operations and provide leadership support to various departments.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all functional areas.
Executive Support:
• Serve as a liaison between the MD and other executives, employees, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation for the MD.
• Manage the MD's schedule, priorities, and administrative tasks.
Communication:
• Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep staff informed and engaged.
• Draft communications on behalf of the MD, including speeches, memos, and emails.
• Represent the MD in meetings and events as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Mentor and develop high-potential employees to ensure leadership continuity.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the MD.
