IQC Engineer

* PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Engineer to join our PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) factory. As an IQC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of components and materials received from suppliers, which are crucial to our manufacturing processes. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect Incoming Components: Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of Incoming Components, such as electronic parts, PCBs, chemical, mechanical parts other materials used in the PCBA/Box-build manufacturing process.
- Part Inspection Plan (PIP): Review customer requirement and materials datasheet to create PIP to instruct operator to follow and check incoming materials.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including Engineering, manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to resolve issues, address concerns, and improve overall product Quality and reliability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce Quality Assurance processes and procedures to ensure adherence to product specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Non-Conformity Management: Identify and report any non-conforming Components, materials, or processes, and work closely with suppliers to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Test and Measurement: Utilize appropriate testing equipment, tools, and software to perform electrical, mechanical, and functional tests on Incoming Components, verifying their compliance with specifications.
- Supplier Evaluation: Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate Supplier performance and provide feedback regarding the Quality of Incoming materials, contributing to Supplier selection and improvement initiatives.
- Documentation: Accurately document inspection results, Test data, and any non-conformities discovered during the IQC process. Prepare detailed reports and maintain comprehensive records for future reference.
