Mechanical Designer (German Company)

Develop technical drawings, mechanical designs, and both 2D and 3D models of equipment, utilizing measurements, specifications, and input from the engineering team.
Design, review, and modify detailed equipment drawings, mechanical component drafts, and technical diagrams based on manager’s requirements.
Create and manage detailed engineering designs, layouts, and special drawings for clients, while maintaining up-to-date as-built documentation.
Provide technical support to the sales department, especially to the project sales team, to assist in decision-making and meeting client requirements.
Collaborate with the fabrication team to develop detailed layouts before fabrication and assist in designing and creating CNC drawings.
Oversee, review, and produce drawings for fabrication and installation at the factory.
Work closely with the production department to update and modify drawings according to production needs.
Develop Bills of Materials (BOM), calculate material quantities, and extract components and consumables based on finalized drawings.
Perform accuracy checks to ensure consistency in all project drawings and documents throughout the design and detailing stages.
Ensure that designs meet client specifications and requests, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Assist in organizing and maintaining technical and engineering files.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Project Sales and Technical Support, to work efficiently and secure projects.
Experienced in designing and calculating both direct and indirect heat exchangers.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the department head.
