Vietnamese IELTS Trainer (From 500,000 to 550,000 VNĐ Gross/hour)

Role mission
To deliver highly effective IELTS lessons to enable Ha Noi state school teachers to improve their overall English language proficiency and IELTS band score.
Role overview
The Ha Noi IELTS teacher training project is designed to upgrade the English level of local English teachers, in order to improve their IELTS band score. Teachers will take their official IELTS exam at the end of the project and are expected to improve a minimum of 0.5 bands or more overall, based on their starting level.
IELTS trainers will work as part of a team to deliver a set curriculum to groups of about 20 trainees. The curriculum is a combination of academic English lessons and IELTS-focussed practice.
The project is expected to last from the beginning Aug to Nov/Dec 2024. Lessons are expected to take place during mornings and afternoons, 6 days per week, including both Sat and Sun. The final schedule will be determined by the project sponsor.
Trainers must commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week throughout the project.
Key responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver effective academic English and IELTS lessons following the curriculum;
2. Complete class records, marking and other admin on time and in full;
3. Collaborate with co-teacher(s) as required;
4. Assess learners’ writing and speaking accurately;
5. Attend induction, meetings and other trainings as required;
6. Attend opening / closing ceremonies;
