The BU Manager will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising strategy. This role involves collaborating with Marketing, Design, Product Development, Operation, and planning teams to ensure that our product offerings meet customer demands and align with our company vision and business objectives.
1. Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with brand goals and market trends. Analyze sales data and market research to identify opportunities.
2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to create and execute strategic merchandising plans.
3. Brand Management: Ability to handle multiple brands simultaneously with an assigned team, ensuring each brand’s unique identity and market strategy is effectively executed.
4. Customer Engagement: Handle customer communication, Customer visits both onsite and overseas effectively, fostering strong relationships and understanding client needs.
5. Presentation Skills: Create and Deliver compelling product and company presentations to customers, showcasing our strengths and offerings.
6. Setting Goals and Objectives and Drive KPI: Establish Goals and Objectives to the team and monitor KPIs for the team, promoting a performance-based culture.
7. Product Development: Collaborate with design and PD teams to create innovative and market-relevant apparel collections and follow up end-to-end development process.
8. Costing Preparation: Thorough knowledge of costing to prepare accurate and competitive pricing for products.
9. Operation: Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
10. Process Improvement: Work on internal process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for team members, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
12. Sales Budget & Capacity Management: Prepare and follow up on yearly capacity and sales budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
13. Recruitment: Conduct interviews and recruit the right talent to build a high-performing team.
14. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared company goals and drive overall success.
