IT Infrastructure & Architecture Administrator

PURPOSE
.
- Manage and maintain IT Infrastructure and Architecture to meet Service Level Agreements,
- Ensure the successful rollout of projects in alignment with IT Project Governance,
- Minimize business risk by implementing robust controls in IT IA Systems and Solutions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

M365 Administration
:
- Optimize core Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, ensuring high availability, performance efficiency, and seamless integration with other enterprise systems
- Contribute to Designing and implementing a robust user management strategy that includes creating, managing, and supporting user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the school’s security policies and compliance requirements.
- Develop and enforce security protocols across all M365 services, including the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and advanced threat protection mechanisms.
- Automate routine and complex administrative tasks through advanced scripting in PowerShell, and leverage Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory compliance mandates for data retention and privacy, utilizing M365 compliance features to safeguard student and staff information
- Spearhead the integration of M365 services with existing infrastructure and third-party applications to enhance workflow efficiencies and user experience.
- Utilize the Microsoft 365 admin center and other advanced monitoring tools to continuously assess the health of services, troubleshoot issues proactively, and provide strategic recommendations based on detailed usage and performance data.
Project Implementation
:
- Lead the implementation of assigned IT projects, ensuring compliance with IT Project Governance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
System Management
:
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Service Level Management
:
- Maintain Infrastructure & Architecture to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Regularly review and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Provide advanced technical support for M365-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system outages, performance issues, and other technical problems.
Risk Management
:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT Infrastructure & Architecture.
- Implement security controls and best practices to protect IT systems and data.
Continuous Improvement
:
- Stay updated with the latest Azure and M365 features and best practices.
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimize IT Infrastructure & Architecture.
Documentation and Reporting
:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, project status, and risk management activities.
Collaboration and Communication
:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless integration of systems & complete the projects on duty.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on projects and system status.
