Mô tả công việc

School Clinic Duties
• Provide service to the client on site as per signed SOW (Scope of Work).
• Provide first aid treatment and primary healthcare to staff and students within a nurse’s capabilities.
• Manage and provide the communication with students’ parent as school policy.
• Operate and maintain medical facility on assigned site as per Intl. SOS MS Policy & Procedures and Client’s HSE policy.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the medical facility and associated areas as per Intl. SOS MS procedure “Medical Facility Housekeeping – Cleaning”.
• Ensure serviceability of the medical facility and all emergency medical equipment on site and take immediate step to rectify any deficiencies.
• Effectively maintain and provide on highest level of medical care and primary emergency care to all personnel on site in line with Intl. SOS MS Clinical Practice Guidelines & other relative BLS/ALS protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records of the personnel onsite, i.e. blood group, allergies, past medical history, etcetera, Ensure S.O.A.P format in medical records are followed. Ensure records accompany personnel in the event of a medical evacuation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical and administrative records under his/her care. Ensure that the data such as personnel medical information /as above/, employee addresses and telephone numbers et cetera are not released to unauthorized personnel.
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of patient rights in relation to consent and withdrawal of consent.
• Maintain and control stock of the medicines, disposable and medical equipment in medical facility of assigned site as per recommended list approved by Intl.SOS Medical Director.
• Ensure good record keeping of medicines, disposable, medical equipment and perform stock check as per Medsite Manual. Any discrepancy must be reported immediately to Health Service Manager/ MS Operations Manager.
• Demonstrate good knowledge and competence in all aspects of available medicine, consumable and medical equipment on site.
• Administer prescription medication of students during school hours.
• Maintain and perform monthly inspection/performance check of all available medical equipment on site and in the medical facility as per Manufacturer Instruction manual & Intl. SOS MS Procedures; take immediate step to rectify any deficiencies.
• Ensure that the copies of the manufacturer’s operating manual for each item of biomedical equipment are available on site and filed properly.
• Ensure all medical equipment is clean and stored safely.
• Maintain good record keeping for the biomedical equipment maintenance and calibrations.
• Follow strictly the Intl. SOS MS Infection Control Policies and oversee infection control measures within school grounds.
• Provide health-related education to students and staff in both individual and group settings;
Case Escalation
• Escalation as per International SOS protocol to the Coordinating Doctor on duty for International SOS HCMC Assistance Centre.
• Advise supervisor on site (Head of the School/HR Manager) of the need for a medical emergency evacuation or reference of injured/sick crewmember on site and organize medical evacuation/reference in conjunction with Intl. SOS CD/Assistance Centre.
• Escort patient to and from outside medical service providers for diagnostic tests if requested by Intl. SOS CD and approved by the client APs.
• Notify immediately Health Service Manager/ MS Operations Manager of any patient complaints or possible patient complaints.
• Report clinical incidents immediately to the Medical Director and non-clinical accidents/incidents to Health Service Manager/ MS Operations Manager, and submit the appropriate Incident Report Form.
Reporting & Recording
• Provide on time fully filled and accurate reports as per approved Intl. SOS MS Vietnam Reports Schedule:
- Monthly Nurse station Activity report
- Monthly Inventory report
- Annual Health Risk Assessment
- Annual Workstation ergonomic assessment
- Quarterly Self Audit report
- Handover notes
- Update annually site clinic Fire & Safety plan and Hazardous material register
• Perform weekly health and hygiene assessment of catering/kitchen, toilets, etc., in the school and report deficiencies to the Health Service Manager.
• Closely monitor all aspects of health and hygiene in the school, and report deficiencies to the Health Service Manager.
• Provide ongoing (non-certified) First Aid training to first aiders, catering crew and all other personnel in the school. Keep records of all delivered trainings to personnel in the school.
• Prepare and conduct health talks (weekly)/health campaigns (quarterly) as per agreed with Health Promotion Calendar. Keep records of all delivered health talks and health campaigns.
• Conduct regular inspection and servicing of eye wash station, first aid kits and first aid stations available in the school.
• Advise supervisor on site (Head of the school, HR & HSE Management) on medical waste management and ensure that all medical waste from on-site medical facility is disposed of in an acceptable manner.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Intl. SOS MS Policies and Procedures, protocol for communication with CD /Coordinating Doctor/ and liaise with the CD through International SOS Assistance Centre as and when required as per Escalation Procedures for MS personal & Intl. SOS MS Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Participate in all emergency drills organized by the client in the school and refresh skills of the first aiders.
• Ensure all work-related injuries and illness (regardless of severity) reported to HR Management immediately.
Additional Responsibilities
• To work within and promote all International SOS’s policies, procedures and corporate values.
• To be aware of International SOS’s policies, practices and procedures and actively participate in the ongoing development and enhancement of these important areas of our business.
• Be available to work on assigned school according to MS roster and schoolwork schedule.
• Wear Intl. SOS MS Uniform and maintain strict PPE policy during work on site.
• Maintain safety policy and environmentally friendly facility at all times.
• Demonstrate good communication and cooperation with Head of the School, HR, teachers as well as all other departments, third party personnel and Client Representative in the school.
• Maintain discipline on site and ensure compliance with Company Disciplinary procedures with regards safety in the school at all time.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork, good communication and cooperation with Intl. SOS MS Department and other MS staff as well as all other Intl. SOS departments.
• Attends training and meetings as and when required by Intl. SOS MS Department.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as required and agreed with Intl. SOS MS Operations Manager and Health Service Manager.
OH&S
• Maintain relevant knowledge of OH&S issues.
• Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace.
• Undertake all mandatory OH&S training as required.
• Comply with any reasonable instructions, policies, procedures or safe work practices given by Intl.SOS in adhering to safe work procedures.
• Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.
• Take reasonable care to ensure own health and safety and the safety of others.
• To report any injury, hazard or illness as soon as possible.
