The Strategy & Innovation Office is tasked with the mission to re-invent the way we do business and serve customers.
Manager or Senior, Retail Business Expansion will build and manage business expansion plan and site development for retail channel growth. You will be expected to develop and execute store density assessment and new store. Besides, ensure the performance and quality of new sites are also covered as part of the job scopes. You will work closely with Commercial team and other departments in retail channel to develop business expansion strategies, research and work with real estate agencies and landlord to achieve performance goals.
This role will have overall responsibility for business expansion and site development for DTC and retail channel growth strategy.
Objectives of this Role
• Plan business expansion strategy nationwide and drive all execution to meet horizontal expansion, site development.
• Seek for potential sites and manage relevant steps and procedures to complete new sites for retail channel. This includes both seeking new sites and switching existing non-performing sites.
• Ensure onboard process of new stores per company’s process and procedures.
• Drive all projects relating to business expansion and growth
Main Responsibilities
• Propose annual business expansion plan, including real estate and site locations for retail growth target
• Prepare all business expansion criteria, site evaluation scorecard and all reports analyzing the feasibility of potential sites to the Management Team for decision making; define relevant sites or projects, the target to meet
• Self-research and liaise with real estate companies to identify potential sites (land or commercial area in buildings) for store development
• Collect all necessary information site evaluation and propose to Management Team
• Negotiate the tenor or the sale or the transfer of the approved sites, real estate companies.
• Manage all business/ store locations and profiles into database and work with relevant team to assess the performance of developed sites for continuing improvement.
• Prepare or coordinate the preparation of any and all letters, correspondences, commercial proposals, memorandum of understandings (MOU), lease contracts or transfer contracts, submissions documents, applications files for the project; Follow-up the time schedule and the implementation of these works to insure their conformity with the requirements of Management Team
• Monitor/ manage / coordinate the implementation of such MoUs or agreements or contracts between different parties within the required time schedule and in all aspects: technical, legal, commercial, accounting in accordance with the pre-determined targets, business planning;
• Organize and attend internal meetings and external meetings will all involved parties as required; Liaise and work with all transversal related departments and also with the Landlords, real estate project owners, real estate companies, the local authorities (if any) and partners hired by the Company (if required), to ensure goals are met;
• Ensure performance and quality of new site in the first incubation year
• Keep and manage the projects and store documents as assigned in accordance with the company's policy on management of documents and database;
• Coordinate with Retail Team to deliver the sites and projects according to expansion plan;
• Other activities according to job requirements and assigned by superiors.
